The Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) is a premier national institution for teaching, research and promotion of international law. It was established in 1959 through the continuous efforts of the late V.K. Krishna Menon. It has indeed been a long and fulfilling journey for the ISIL that it has earned a pride of place among the community of international lawyers throughout the world. This would not have been possible but for the hard work put in by people, such as Judge Nagendra Singh, Dr. K. Krishna Rao, Shri G.S. Pathak, Justice R.S. Pathak, Prof. C.J. Chacko, Prof. B.S.N. Murti, Shri C.V.L. Narayan, Prof. M.K. Nawaz, Shri G.V.G. Krishnamurthy, Shri Ram Niwas Mirdha, Prof. R.P. Anand, Dr. P. Chandrasekhara Rao, Dr. R.K. Dixit, Dr. P. Sreenivasa Rao and a host of others.
A visit was conducted by the Centre for International Law and Institutions, Faculty of Law, SRMUH, to make a social call on so as to get into the dialogues about the Global affairs. The emergencies were discussed along with the related conferences which took place to redress the state of affairs. This report provides insights into the confabulation, detailing its purpose, speakers, key topics covered.
Purpose of the visit
The main objective of this visit was to delve into the understanding of pragmatic circumstances that exists around the globe. It was to provide essential procedural skills and specialized knowledge to look into the matters as it empowers individuals to navigate by following a holistic approach considering all the major parameters. By comprehending the ethical implications and potential risks around the globe, individuals can contribute to the necessary reforms in the International Treaties and Conventions, advocate for their rights, and hold the authorities accountable for upholding fairness, transparency, and accountability in global parameters.
Details of the event
The visit took place on April 12, 2024, for which the university bus departed at 09:50 AM and came back at around 03:50 PM. The Secretary General of ISIL, Ambassador Narinder Singh along with his junior served as the panelist at ISIL, offering valuable insights on some major dimensions of Public and Private International Law, and Ms. Rufi Khan, Assistant Professor, addressed the speakers and gave a general introduction of the students to them. In the entire series of consultations, Mr. Ajeet Singh, Assistant Professor, vigilantly moderated the session, ensuring a smooth flow of information and interaction. International Law Commission: Its establishment and overview with the mission to promote the progressive development of international law.
Key Topics Covered: The stance of Public & Private International Laws, Participation of States in Treaty making, The provisions of CPC w.r.t. recognition of foreign judgements, International Conventions regarding Immunity of Diplomats, Role of International Regulatory Bodies, Binding decisions on parties to the dispute, Dispute Settlement, The League of Nations Model and International Affairs of Maritime Boundaries.
Participation and Engagement: The discussions attracted significant enthusiasm of students concerning global state of affairs.

Conclusion
The visit provided a platform to confer the emerging concerns with regards to the International Law. Through insightful consultations and collaborative efforts, students or participants of the session pointed some major concerns regarding the accountability of the individuals having immunity under the international law and other related significant considerations. As we navigate the ever-evolving dimensions, it is imperative to prioritize the transparency, fairness and accountability, and therefore, the opportunity provided by this visit allowed the students to delve into diverse parameters and perspectives that revolve around the global affairs.
