The Training and Placement Cell at SRMUH plays a crucial role in providing students with ample opportunities and guidance to gain relevant work experience and brush up on their skills to ensure the best placements for the students. The Training & Placements cell operates year-round by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments to ensure the best and most successful placements of the students in prominent organizations. With the number of students being placed rising continuously and our alumni setting records in the industry we have been successfully maintaining our high placement statistics over time.
Every year the Training & Placement Cell (T&P Cell) at the university arranges special soft skills and other training programmes for the students to hone their soft skills, and co-curricular knowledge, and enhance their level of confidence to make them interview-ready. Nothing sets us back as during the pandemic, the Training and Placements Cell had organized several webinars and online training sessions where not just the final year students but students across the semesters had received the opportunity to interact with the industry experts and understand the demands of professional life. Apart from the constant training sessions, conferences, and webinars, the T&P Cell also arranges summer internship programmes for students across disciplines.
Internships
Our curriculum is beautifully designed by experts from industry & academia. We have CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) & our internship Program that ensures that every student has spent over 7 months (2 months after 4th Semester & 5 months after 7th Semester) working in the industry even before graduation. The internship exposes them to real-life applications of their course work and teaches them to work in a collaborative environment. Students complete their academic programs at the same time as their internship, by the end of the internship they have the opportunity to become full-time employees based on their performance. The internship gives students the vital experience needed to adapt quickly to careers in the industry.
